A Simple Gesture
Donating food to the Arlington Community Food Bank couldn't be easier! A Simple Gesture is a program that makes it easy to donate food to help your neighbors in need. Using a reusable grocery bag, every time you go to the store, pick up a few items to fill your bag with non-perishable food or personal care items. Every other month, drop it off at any one of the many participating businesses in our community in exchange for a new refillable bag. It really is that simple!
If only 10% of local residents donate an extra non-perishable food item through A Simple Gesture each time they shop for groceries, we have the potential to provide 150,000 additional pounds of food to our neighbors in need each year. This will allow the food bank to use precious monetary donations to purchase other items in demand such as fresh fruits, vegetables, meat and dairy products.
Arlington Food Bank is a 501(c)3 Non-Profit. All donations are tax deductible.
