Any community member may pick up face masks or shields (for FREE) during normal distribution days & times: Mondays 5:00-6:00pm; Wednesdays 5:30pm-6:30pm; or Fridays 12:00pm-1:00pm.
Meals 'til Monday Program
Meals 'til Monday is a supplemental food program for students Pre-K to 12 in the Arlington School District. The program provides supplemental meal packs to students who may not otherwise have access to food resources during non-school days. 1 in 5 children in Western Washington suffer from food insecurity. 37% of students in the Arlington School District qualify for free or reduced lunch. In addition, our district has more than 230 students registered in the McKinney-Vento Program (a homeless child or youth who lacks a fixed, regular or adequate nighttime residence). The Arlington School District identifies kids at risk, the food bank prepares and distributes food bags weekly to each school for the child to easily assemble into healthy meals at home.
Student's can pickup a two-day supplemental pack at Arlington School District 'Hot Spots' identified on the district website www.asdwednet.org or during regular food bank distribution hours: Mondays 5:00pm-6:00pm; Wednesdays 5:30pm-6:30pm; Fridays 12:00pm-1:00pm.

A SIMPLE GESTURE
Donating food to the Arlington Community Food Bank couldn't be easier! A Simple Gesture is a program that makes it easy to donate food to help your neighbors in need. Using a reusable grocery bag, every time you go to the store, pick up a few items to fill your bag with non-perishable food or personal care items. Every other month, drop it off at any one of the many participating businesses in our community in exchange for a new refillable bag. It really is that simple!
If only 10% of local residents donate an extra non-perishable food item through A Simple Gesture each time they shop for groceries, we have the potential to provide 150,000 additional pounds of food to our neighbors in need each year. This will allow the food bank to use precious monetary donations to purchase other items in demand such as fresh fruits, vegetables, meat and dairy products.
