Inclement Weather Policy
Arlington Food Bank follows Arlington Public School’s Inclement Weather Policy. If there is a delayed start or no school due to inclement weather or unsafe driving conditions, The Market, Mobile Market, and all programs of the food bank will be closed. This protects all volunteers and customers.
2026 Holiday Schedule
The food bank will be closed during the following holiday dates:
- Jan 1-2
- Jan 19
- Feb 16
- May 25
- July 3-4
- Sept 7
- Nov 23-27
- Dec 21-Jan 1, 2027
Our volunteer activities range from packing and sorting food, to assisting programs and distributions. If you are interested in group activities please CONTACT US!
Our Arlington Food Bank volunteer hours take place Monday- Friday 9:00am-12:00pm and 11:00am-2:00pm and Monday & Wednesday evenings: 3-6 pm & 5-8 pm.
You must be over the age of 16 to volunteer.
