standards for nonprofit website disclosures, as outlined in Standard 17.
Policy Statement
Arlington Community Food Bank will provide clear and comprehensive disclosures on its official website, arlingtonfoodbank.org, to support transparency and informed donor engagement. The website will include:
- Annual Report – A link to the most recent annual report, outlining the organization’s impact, financial information, and key achievements.
- IRS Form 990 – A direct link to the most recently filed IRS Form 990 to provide financial transparency.
- Mailing Address – The organization’s official mailing address for correspondence and donor inquiries.
- Mission and Programs – A description of the organization’s mission, core programs, and services provided to the community.
- Board and Leadership – A list of the organization’s Board of Directors and key leadership staff.
- Donor Privacy Policy – A statement detailing how donor information is collected, stored, and protected.
- Financial Information – Summary financial data that demonstrates responsible stewardship of donations.
Implementation & Compliance
- The Executive Director and designated staff will ensure the website remains updated with the latest disclosures.
- The IRS Form 990 and annual report will be uploaded within 30 days of their official filing or release.
- Any necessary revisions to disclosures will be completed annually to maintain compliance with nonprofit best practices.
Review & Updates
This policy will be reviewed annually by the Executive Director and Board of Directors to ensure continued compliance and alignment with industry standards. Updates will be made as necessary.
